How links are marked

Affiliate links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute as required by Google's link-attribution guidelines, and product recommendation boxes state the commercial relationship directly on the page rather than only here.

How this affects our content

It does not determine rankings. Our editorial process reviews published trial evidence and the testing documentation suppliers publish themselves. Where the evidence favours a product we earn nothing from — including approved prescription medicines available only through a physician — that is what we say.

We do not accept payment for a favorable review, and we do not let suppliers approve content before publication.

What we do not do

We do not run independent laboratory tests. We have not purchased products and sent them to a laboratory of our own choosing, and we do not hold any test results that were not published by the supplier. When this page or a comparison says a certificate of analysis was “verified”, it means we opened the document the supplier published and recorded what it does and does not show — the lot number, the testing methods, whether a laboratory is named, the report date. That is a documentation check, not a chemical one.

The distinction matters because it is the one thing nobody in this market can check for you. A supplier's certificate is evidence that a laboratory examined asample; it is not evidence about the vial that arrives at your address. If we ever commission our own testing, the results will be published in full — including results that reflect badly on a supplier we earn from — and this section will say so.
